Ariana Biermann Makes Emotional Admission After Brother KJ’s Arrest

Ariana Biermann reflected on the harder side of growing up on reality television while accepting an award for her work on Next Gen NYC.

Her comments came one day after her younger brother, KJ Biermann, pleaded not guilty to seven felony charges. However, Ariana did not directly mention KJ, his arrest, or his ongoing case during her speech.

Ariana touched on difficult experiences while celebrating her Next Gen NYC success

Ariana received the Breakout Star award at the second annual “Virtual Reali-Tea” Awards in New York City.

The 24-year-old thanked viewers for supporting Next Gen NYC and reflected on spending much of her life in front of Bravo cameras.

“Thank you all for watching ‘Next Gen,’ I’ve obviously lived a lot of my life on reality TV,” Ariana said.

According to Page Six, she then acknowledged that her experience in the spotlight had included difficult moments.

“It comes with amazing things and some not-so-great things, but Bravo took a chance on me, and I feel so honored,” she continued.

Ariana also thanked viewers for supporting her journey and expressed appreciation for her mother, Kim Zolciak.

Her speech came amid serious legal issues involving her 15-year-old brother.

Authorities arrested KJ on August 17 over allegations involving a person under 16. A grand jury later indicted him on aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, false imprisonment, and three additional counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child.

KJ pleaded not guilty to all seven felony charges on Monday.

His attorney, Jason Sheffield, denied wrongdoing and described KJ as “100% innocent.” Zolciak also rejected the allegations and said her son denied the accusations against him.

A judge previously granted KJ a $200,000 bond with several conditions. Those included electronic monitoring, restrictions on cell phone use, and no contact with the alleged victim. He also could not have contact with anyone under 16 and had to attend school virtually from Zolciak’s Georgia home.

Ariana appeared on Bravo long before joining Next Gen NYC. Viewers previously saw her alongside her family on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy.

Her latest award recognized her own success on Next Gen NYC. Still, Ariana kept her comments about the “not-so-great things” broad and did not identify any specific event as the reason behind them.
