Amanda Bynes shared a promising update about her project, Kendall
Amanda Bynes took to Instagram to share details about the new project. She shared a picture of art and a screenshot of messages with the caption, “Kendall is in production fyi.”
The screenshots appeared to show a screenplay centered on a character named Kendall, who faces a personal crisis and a series of strange events, including her boyfriend’s disappearance.
One of the slides in the post begins with Kendall and her boyfriend spray-painting the room. Kendall suggests drawing black clouds, and her boyfriend warns her of “dark energy.” The conversation moves to the approaching storm, and they discuss stocking food and water. The situation takes another turn when they visit the grocery store and find customers panicking.
According to OK! Magazine, Bynes further added, “We never see her boyfriend again. We don’t know if he was struck by lightning, was in a car accident, or was abducted.”
She added, “Kendall goes into a spiral of psychosis, drug use, and extreme distress. Kendall starts living on the street. This forces her to get help at a treatment center in L.A.”
The carousel of screenshots hints at events that unfold in the story and how Kendall copes throughout.
Bynes did not clarify whether the project is a movie or television series, nor did she provide any details about the production.
This is not the first time that Bynes has teased a project featuring a character named Kendall. In September 2025, she shared that she was working on a screenplay with her friend Dylan Syrett. That story also centered on a character named Kendall, who wanted to become a clown.
While both projects feature a character named Kendall, there are no details indicating whether they are connected.
