Megan Thee Stallion is celebrating a major career milestone with her upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show appearance, but Gilbert Arenas has brought attention back to her recent split from Klay Thompson. The former NBA star made a blunt comparison while discussing Thompson’s alleged cheating and the rapper’s relationship with the basketball player.
Gilbert Arenas compares Megan Thee Stallion to a Toyota amid Klay Thompson split
During an appearance on the We Said What We Said show, Arenas argued that Megan should not have been surprised by Thompson’s alleged infidelity given his dating history. He compared the rapper to a Toyota while describing the women he claimed Thompson had previously dated.
Arenas said, “If you see that n-gga list, it was like Bugatti, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Bugatti.” He went on to say, “She at the bottom. Like, compared to the list, she’s a Toyota.” Arenas also claimed Thompson had “cheated on the best of the celebrities.” He questioned why Megan would expect the relationship to be different.
However, Arenas later acknowledged that he could not really judge Megan as a partner because he does not know her personally. When asked whether he considered her “wifey material” during her relationship with Thompson, he pointed to the difference between a celebrity’s public image and private life and used Cardi B as an example.
“I don’t really know who she is,” Arenas said. He then added bluntly, “Whoever she was, she got her -ss cheated on.”
Meanwhile, Megan is preparing for another major moment in her career. She recently announced that she will perform at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles on October 18, calling the opportunity a longtime dream.
she wrote on X, “Hotties, my dream has finally come true!” She added, “I’m in thee Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Tune in October 18 to see me get my wings.”
Megan will share the stage with KATSEYE, Megan Moroney and Tate McRae. The show will air live from Los Angeles and stream globally on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.
