For those unversed, the Suits star launched a collection of photos and videos to promote her latest Christmas products. Notably, it is called the Christmas Advent Calendar and features wholesome, handmade goodies from Los Angeles chocolatier Compartes.
It is available exclusively to U.S. residents. The calendar features 24 handmade chocolates inspired by Markle’s Montecito home and personal life. However, sharp-eyed fans noticed a subtle connection to the future queen. Upon zooming in on the promotional photo, several fans accused the former actress of using AI. They spotted what appeared to be six fingers on her hand.
User TribesBritannia commented, “Meghan Markle using AI for Ass Never. Six fingers is a classic example of AI. She can’t even be bothered to take a simple photo, are the media and @GettyImages going to go mad about this, like they did about a simple Mother’s Day photo?”
Notably, users are recalling the controversy surrounding Middleton’s Mother’s Day photo in 2024, which caused an uproar over allegations that it was digitally altered using AI.
Another user, TheWoolPainter, wrote, “It’s deliberate, she knows her photos get dissected and it gets her the traction and attention she craves.” Moreover, many fans have criticized Markle’s new Christmas campaign for being lackluster.
