Big Bang Theory Creator Slams Donald Trump as ‘Piece of S—,’ White House Responds

The TV writer-producer behind The Big Bang Theory used a charity award speech to mock Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, and the White House fired back within days. He gave the remarks in Los Angeles on September 26 while accepting the Founders Award from Project Angel Food.

Chuck Lorre’s remarks on Donald Trump prompt a response from the White House

A White House spokesperson answered through Fox News Digital. “Chuck Lorre should immediately seek psychiatric help to treat his severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has completely rotted his peanut-sized brain,” spokesperson Davis Ingle said.

Lorre opened by saying he wanted to speak about compassionate government, then turned on the president. He said his profession required him to address “that bloated orange piece of s**t in the White House” (per The Daily Beast). He also labeled Trump a “Russian asset.”

The comedy writer then described his morning routine: checking CNN to see whether the president had died of a heart attack.

The Big Bang Theory creative also went after the first lady. He praised Michelle Obama as smart, educated, warm and funny, then asked how Americans could accept “a surgically enhanced, cold-hearted Yugoslavian escort who clearly hates her husband” in the same role. He said his “need to cause laughter” drove the comments.

This was not Lorre’s first public shot at the president. He often used short messages, known as vanity cards, at the end of The Big Bang Theory episodes. In 2016, one card attacked Trump’s slogan, saying, “‘Make America Great Again’ is a bumper sticker for victimhood.” Two years later, a card in the show’s 12th season took aim at an “autocratic golf cheater.”

The series ended in 2019 after winning 10 Emmys and drawing 55 nominations. It has since produced three spinoffs.
