Dominic McLaughlin and Nick Frost‘s award-winning comedy film is now streaming on Peacock. Both actors also play Harry Potter and Rubeus Hagrid, respectively, in HBO’s Harry Potter TV series.
Double Nickel Entertainment has announced that Grow is available to stream on Peacock, beginning today. John McPhail directed the British comedy feature from a screenplay by Nick Guthe, Ruth Fletcher, and Christos N. Gage.
The film follows Dinah Little (Golda Rosheuvel), a no-nonsense farmer living in the self-proclaimed “Pumpkin Capital of the World.” She reluctantly takes in her abandoned niece, Charlie (Priya-Rose Brookwell). Charlie, who has a special bond with plants, gets involved in the town’s annual pumpkin-growing competition that brings together rival growers, eccentric locals, and plenty of pumpkins.
McLaughlin plays Oliver Gregory, Charlie’s sensitive best friend. Meanwhile, Frost plays Arlo, a local pumpkin grower.
