Denise Brown is revisiting Nicole’s story as she releases a book aimed at helping domestic violence survivors

Decades after the brutal murder of the late NFL star’s ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson’s sister has now published a book in her memory. The book aims to help people experiencing domestic violence find their voice. During this, Denise Brown spoke with reporters, as per People’s coverage.

According to the author, she didn’t believe Nicole Brown Simpson was “a battered woman.”

Denise later talked about the book, saying, “This book was written to save lives. I couldn’t save Nicole, but I don’t want there to be another Nicole.”

In her new book, For My Sister Nicole: Love Shouldn’t Hurt, Denise Brown draws from her personal history and experiences to portray the abusive relationship that, according to her, brutally ended her sister’s life.

Talking about the controversial murder case of Nicole Brown Simpson, an unknown attacker brutally stabbed her and her friend Ron Goldman to death outside her Los Angeles home on the night of June 12, 1994.

In the case, her ex-husband O.J. Simpson became the prime suspect, and investigators reportedly found blood and DNA evidence linking the former NFL player to the crime scene. When police asked him to surrender, reports claimed that the late athlete fled in his white car, leading to a widely covered police chase.

Nicole Brown Simpson’s death case became one of the most controversial and widely followed trials in American history. In 1995, a court found O.J. Simpson not guilty in the double murder case. However, in a later civil trial, the court found him responsible and ordered him to pay compensation to the victims’ families.
