On the episode, De Silva revealed that she was shocked when she realized Craig had charged her birthday dinner to her credit card.
“He takes me to a very expensive restaurant, and we had a beautiful time,” the reality star said. “We came home. We had amazing sex. Everything was great. I was like, ‘Okay, all right, I feel this.’”
According to Page Six, when De Silva later checked their bills, she found that “the f–king dinner was on my credit card.”
“I said, ‘David! You made me pay for my own dinner? My own birthday dinner?” she recalled, adding, “And that’s when I knew… what’s left?”
Earlier in the conversation, De Silva said that Craig would have stayed with her despite there being “never any affection” in their relationship.
“I think he liked the illusion of being my husband,” she said. “I think he liked the illusion of being a family unit, and I think he likes the lifestyle.”
De Silva admitted to her aunt that “ideally, I would like a divorce.” However, she explained that Craig had an “aggressive” response when she brought up divorce. Instead, they decided to separate. The Bravo star said that if they did not share daughter London, 14, and son Rio, 8, the marriage “would’ve been a wrap a long time ago.”
Later, the reality TV star appeared on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Tuesday. There, she confirmed that they “are still going through a divorce.” She revealed that Craig’s decision to file for divorce “without letting me know” was the “moment when I felt like there was no going back.”
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Craig filed for divorce from her after almost nine years of marriage on April 2.
