Sarah Ferguson could soon reveal a new side of her complicated history with the Royal Family. The former Duchess of York is reportedly close to securing a major publishing deal for a book about her life and royal experiences. The reported development comes as the royals remain under scrutiny following the release of Earl Spencer’s memoir. Now, Ferguson is ready to tell her side of the story, but a source revealed why she wants to write the book.
Sarah Ferguson ‘wants to set the record straight about everything’ with explosive autobiography, per source
According to The Sun, Sarah Ferguson has received several seven-figure offers from US publishers and is reportedly “days away” from securing a deal. Ferguson has already prepared a chapter-by-chapter synopsis, with detailed notes covering several key subjects. A source claimed Ferguson is determined to explain her side of the story.
“Sarah wants to set the record straight about everything and earn some money to resolve her financial issues,” the source added. “There has been a secret bidding war and a deal is close to being secured. The notes are compelling, and the bidders are excited.” The source also claimed that “Fergie is ever the optimist and believes she can be forgiven and welcomed back.”
The autobiography could cover Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, King Charles, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle. It may also address Ferguson’s past association with Jeffrey Epstein, though the report says that would not be its sole focus.
Ferguson has also reportedly told friends in the US that she hopes to “clear up doubts about her links to Epstein and win back support from the public.” Ferguson has previously published two memoirs, one in 1996 and another in 2011. She also wrote the “Budgie the Little Helicopter” children’s books, which later became a television series.
Sources close to Ferguson reportedly said she does not want a traditional “tell all” about her family’s scandals. Instead, the book could focus on setting the record straight about her royal experiences.
