Justin Bieber Gives LA Park-Goers an Unexpected Jam Session

Justin Bieber turned an ordinary Los Angeles afternoon into a surprise concert when he joined musicians for an impromptu park jam. The singer played drums, sang several songs, and greeted young fans who gathered around to watch.

The unexpected performance took place at MacArthur Park on September 22. Videos showed Bieber surrounded by musicians with guitars and percussion instruments as curious onlookers pulled out their phones.

TikTok user @SONYGT05 captured Bieber jamming at the park. He performed “Let Me Love You” and several songs from his Swag albums, including “Speed Demon,” “All I Can Take” and “Yukon.” FOX11 also reported that Bieber performed those songs during the surprise session. Another clip showed him singing “Daisies” while seated with the musicians.

The 32-year-old singer appeared relaxed throughout the afternoon. He also stopped to interact with fans who gathered around the group. One especially sweet moment involved a young boy. Bieber shook his hand and called him “so cute,” according to PEOPLE. The boy later accepted a tambourine from one of Bieber’s bandmates but remained too shy to play it.

Billboard reported that Bieber also wished another young fan a “happy birthday, buddy, have a good one.” The casual moments added a family-friendly touch to the unexpected performance. Bieber had not announced a traditional world tour supporting his Swag albums. His live appearances had remained limited after his Justice World Tour was postponed and ultimately canceled in 2023.

He had since performed at the 2026 Grammys, Coachella, and the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony. The singer had also previously dealt with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which briefly caused partial facial paralysis. Away from the stage, Bieber had recently focused more time on his family. He and Hailey Bieber, whom he married in September 2018, have a two-year-old son, Jack Blues.

PEOPLE noted that the couple kept Jack’s face private in public posts. Hailey previously explained that they planned to maintain that privacy until their son could understand the attention.
