Daredevil: Born Again is gearing up for the release of its third and final season. The show’s recent cancellation may not bode well for some of the major characters, according to a new rumor.
In a recent X post, industry insider MyTimeToShineHello claimed, “I’m not going to say who they are, but I’ve heard they knew halfway through production that this would be the final season, so they’re killing off a lot of important characters.”
The scooper remained tight-lipped about which character might breathe their last in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. However, readers must note that there has been no confirmation from any official source; thus, it is just a rumor for now.
The post comes shortly after the announcement that the upcoming season will be the series finale. The decision comes after Marvel Studios parted ways with showrunner Dario Scardapane mid-post-production. A source has claimed that post-production of Season 3 is in the final stages (via The Hollywood Reporter).
Who do fans think will die in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3?
While MyTimeToShineHello did not mention who might die in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, popular fan theories point to multiple major characters.
One fan, @anth0ny984, said, “I hope they finally KILL Kingpin once and for all, damn it!!!” Meanwhile, @Im_AaronSH wrote, “Are they killing elketra again? Karen? Maybe they are killing all the defenders.” Additionally, @rosalita1973 pleaded, “better not kill Bullseye!”
On the other hand, @dellswells believes, “Nah the main character will just have appearances in upcoming marvel movies instead of been killed off.”
The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, along with Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, and more.
Whether Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 will truly kill off any of the crucial characters remains to be seen. The upcoming series finale will arrive on Disney+ in 2027.
