Jeremy Clarkson’s Partner Reveals What He Initially Begged Her Not to Do

Jeremy Clarkson and Lisa Hogan have been together for nine years. The couple recently offered another glimpse into their relationship when Hogan revealed what Clarkson initially asked her not to do while he was in the hospital.

Lisa Hogan says Jeremy Clarkson initially asked her not to film him in hospital before sharing his prostate cancer diagnosis on Clarkson’s Farm

Recently, Lisa Hogan spoke with the Daily Star at the Big Christmas Press Show, where she discussed Jeremy Clarkson’s cancer diagnosis. During the conversation, she revealed that the TV personality initially asked her not to film him in the hospital before he shared his prostate cancer diagnosis on Clarkson’s Farm.

Hogan said, “I’m really happy he caught his prostate cancer early and I’m really proud of him for putting it on the show, because that was a really big decision. When I was filming him in hospital, at first he said ‘please don’t.’”

However, the Dublin-born actress later revealed that she told Clarkson she wanted the video to show his friend and producer, Andy Wilman, how he was doing. Wilman then encouraged Clarkson to share the footage with a wider audience.

“It was Andy Wilman who convinced him to do it, to help everybody else. When the show came out, Prostate Cancer UK had 30,000 people going onto their website in one day,” Hogan said.

For context, doctors diagnosed Jeremy Clarkson with aggressive prostate cancer in May 2025, and a PSA test helped detect the cancer early. The TV presenter underwent surgery to remove about 10% of his prostate. He publicly announced in June 2026 that he was in remission. He revealed his diagnosis during the final episode of Season 5 of Clarkson’s Farm.
