Amabile shared the new photos on Instagram on Wednesday, showing the top of his head. He shared several photos of his scar in an Instagram carousel, showing how it has been healing and changing over time. “I feel like my scar is coming along pretty nicely,” he wrote in the caption.
He also gave followers a peek at a more casual moment from his day, sharing a photo of a slice of pizza from Scarr’s Pizza. The update offered a mix of his recovery journey and an everyday moment as he continues to settle into life after the major procedure.

He first disclosed his diagnosis in July after doctors discovered a lesion on his brain during an MRI. The lesion was approximately the size of a blueberry and was suspected to be a glioma. He also said doctors told him that the tumor was in its early stages and that they hoped they could remove it all.
Amabile later underwent surgery on Aug. 6 to remove the tumor. After the procedure, he shared an Instagram update with photos from his hospital room. “They got it all!” he wrote in the post. The update marked another step in his ongoing recovery as he continues to share his health journey on Instagram.
