George Clooney & Camille Cottin’s Hilarious New Netflix Movie Debuts Today

George Clooney and Camille Cottin have returned with their latest hilarious flick that debuts on Netflix today. Call My Agent! The Movie hits the streaming giant, bringing forth Clooney in a guest appearance as himself.

Call My Agent! The Movie, originally titled Dix pour cent, le film in French, picks up five years after the fictional Parisian ASK talent agency closes. It sees former agent Andréa Martel (played by Cottin) try her hand at directing her first feature film, though it isn’t long before chaos erupts.

Things take a turn for the worse when her lead actor quits right before filming begins. This last-minute casting crisis eventually leads to Andréa having to reunite with her former team of agents and associates to save the project.

The ASK Agency reunion brings old dynamics back into play

The premiere of Call My Agent! The Movie on Netflix officially reunites the beloved, chaotic staff of ASK five years after the original series ended. As on-set chaos forces a vulnerable Andréa to call upon her former colleagues to salvage the project, old character dynamics and deep-seated workplace hierarchies are instantly dragged right back into the light.

The flick brings back the bubbly Noémie Leclerc, the notoriously conniving Mathias, the token “nice guy” Gabriel, Hervé, and the legendary Arlette alongside Andréa to force the fractured ASK team back together. Essentially, it tests their professional and personal growth in these tough times of chaos.

As per IMDb, the film’s synopsis reads, “Follows a former talent agent turned aspiring director who must reunite with her old team when her lead actor drops out days before filming begins.”

Alongside Camille Cottin, the film also stars Laure Calamy, Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel, and Liliane Rovère, among others. Moreover, Clooney wasn’t the only one with a guest cameo. Eva Longoria, Laurent Lafitte, Laetitia Casta, and Vincent Macaigne also appeared as themselves.

Directed by Émilie Noblet on a screenplay written by Fanny Herrero and Lison Daniel, Call My Agent! The Movie originally released at the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival.
