New cast member Hailey Glassman asked Jessel about her IVF journey. Hailey explained that Erin had mentioned the subject during their conversation. Jessel immediately wondered why Erin discussed such personal information.
Erin told Hailey that the women learned Jessel had experienced an IVF issue. She also connected that information to Jessel’s lack of intimacy. Erin said she felt she did not know the “full picture” of Jessel’s situation.
Jessel made an important distinction about Hailey knowing her private information. She said she was not offended by Hailey bringing up her IVF journey. Jessel instead questioned why Erin decided to reveal it.
“Here’s the thing about our friend over there,” Jessel said. “She does like to offer information that’s not hers.” Jessel then explained why Erin’s decision bothered her.
“I wasn’t offended that you knew about my IVF,” she continued. “I’m very open about that. But it’s not her story to tell. It’s mine.”
Hailey admitted she barely remembered her conversation with Erin. She said she had been extremely intoxicated during their meeting. Producers then showed footage of their earlier conversation.
The exchange added tension between Jessel and Erin before the season fully unfolded. Jessel and Erin had previously been friends. Their relationship appears to face new challenges during the season.
Jessel had already identified Erin as a major pot stirrer. Before season 16 premiered, US Weekly asked her about the biggest troublemaker. Jessel immediately named her fellow RHONY star.
“Erin holds the championship title of being a pot stirrer,” Jessel said. She added that Erin was not ready to give up that position.
