Dancing with the Stars Season 35 has already started making headlines even before its premiere, with each cast member grabbing attention in their own unique way. So, how could Conor Wood stay behind? The star recently went ‘grandiose’ with his wild DWTS costumes.
Connor Wood revealed why he is embracing wild costumes on DWTS
The internet personality recently appeared on SiriusXM 109 with Danny Murphy, where the two had a detailed conversation about Dancing with the Stars. During the interview, Connor Wood opened up about why he is embracing wild costumes on DWTS.
Wood said, “So Stephen, who’s on the costume team, he’s like head of costumes. I’m sorry if I like botched his title. We both went to UT Austin. We’re like alumnus.”
“So we both went to UT Austin and so we hit it off right away and I told him, “Put me in whatever you want. I want to go all out.” I want it to be, I want it to obviously play into the dancing, but I almost kind of want it to be like grandiose,” he added.
Star continued, “so the first shoot was the promo shoot and someone walks out and like, “You’re going to be doing your own little thing for the promo shoot.””
The internet personality explained that the team brought him feathers almost as long as he is tall while he wore a double-breasted suit. Someone then reminded him that he had said he was ready to do whatever it takes for the show, and Wood simply replied, “And I am.”
For context, Dancing with the Stars is not only Fibula, the comedian and podcaster’s first dance reality show, but also his first appearance on reality TV. Connor Wood’s experience mainly lies in social media content creation and comedy. He is paired with Rylee Arnold, and this will be the 21-year-old’s fourth season as a main pro on DWTS.
