Meghan Markle’s School Fears Get a Blunt Reality Check Amid UK Return

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s UK return has put their kids‘ schooling in the spotlight. Amid the move, the Duchess of Sussex’s concerns have reportedly been met with a firm dose of British reality. Sources indicate the couple plan to relocate to a private, non-royal home in the Cotswolds, with Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, starting British schooling in September.

Royal expert slams Meghan Markle for reportedly worrying about kids’ school while in UK

Meghan Markle has come under fire for a reported “nonsense” concern after her and Prince Harry’s UK comeback. The royal pair landed at Birmingham Airport with their children on August 26, though the exact location of their new home remains undisclosed. Almost a week into their return, the Sussex family is currently living in a rented, non-royal residence on the outskirts of London.

According to the Daily Express, the 45-year-old Duchess is reportedly anxious about having to do the school run for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The As Ever founder previously raised similar concerns in her 2022 interview with The Cut. In that conversation, she spoke about the prospect of having to take her son to school if they were living in Britain.

Reacting to Markle’s reported concern, royal expert Robert Jobson told TalkTV, “This is nonsense because there are self-governing rules here, and there’s no way that there could be loads of paparazzi there.”

He further added, “This nonsense, and it is nonsense, is based upon, maybe, stuff that Harry told her when he was, about when he was a kid.”

Jobson went on to suggest that this is how the system operates. He stated that the couple is now playing up concerns about the school run, despite Prince Harry being fully aware of the security arrangements before returning.

He also pointed out that there are no paparazzi present when Prince William and Princess Catherine do the school run for their three children, apart from the official photographs taken on their first days.
