The insider added, “They are watching this space. It’s private — they don’t feel the need to say anything or demonstrate anything outwardly.” The source suggested that Harry’s return to Britain could give him a chance to make peace with William. However, reconciliation “will be a slow build” because “there is a deep sense of betrayal.”
A separate source told Closer Weekly that William and Kate “had a relaxing summer,” including time at Balmoral Castle in Scotland with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. However, the couple has “got an awful lot coming up, so they’re all business now.” According to the insider, the “Sussex hysteria” has “only strengthened their resolve” to work hard and get on with it.
The Closer Weekly source further said William and Kate will not allow Harry and Meghan to “cross any boundaries.” However, they added that the couple wants to “remain dignified” and focus on serving the Crown and the public rather than getting distracted by the surrounding attention.
