The film is set to move to Prime Video, where it will begin streaming on September 10, 2026, as per IGN. The streaming change comes on the same day the Margot Robbie and Charlize Theron-led film exits Netflix.
Set during the 2016 U.S. presidential election, Bombshell centers on the events that unfolded at Fox News after anchor Gretchen Carlson accused network chief Roger Ailes of sexual harassment. Her lawsuit puts Ailes and the workplace culture at Fox News under scrutiny, while other women begin sharing their own experiences.
Among them is correspondent Megyn Kelly, who is already facing controversy after challenging Donald Trump over his comments about women. As the allegations against Ailes grow, ambitious producer Kayla Pospisil also becomes involved, bringing together three women whose experiences expose the treatment of women within the network.
The cast members include Charlize Theron stars as Megyn Kelly, Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson, Margot Robbie as Kayla Pospisil, John Lithgow as Roger Ailes, Kate McKinnon as Jess Carr, and more. The film holds a 67 percent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes based on 350 reviews. Meanwhile, its audience score stands at 84 percent.
