A royal expert told RadarOnline that Queen Camilla is playing a key role in easing tensions between King Charles and Prince Harry. The expert noted, “Camilla would have every reason to keep her distance after everything that was written and said about her, but she has chosen not to make this about herself.”
Despite the personal attacks aimed at Camilla in Harry’s memoir “Spare,” she has reportedly put her own feelings aside and is instead focused on Charles’ happiness and stability. The expert explained that Camilla understands that, regardless of what happened between Harry and his father, their relationship ultimately matters to the monarch.
“The King’s health has inevitably changed the perspective around some of these family disagreements. Camilla doesn’t believe anyone benefits from allowing years to pass while relationships remain completely frozen,” they further elaborated.
According to the expert, Camilla has encouraged Charles to remain open to rebuilding his relationship with Harry, provided it can be done in a healthier way. She reportedly believes reconciliation could become more realistic now that the Sussexes are expected to spend more time in Britain.
It is worth noting that Harry, Markle, and their children are reportedly living outside London in a non-royal property. The couple will not receive taxpayer-funded security, while their children, Archie and Lilibet, are reportedly set to start school this week, although the name of their institution remains under wraps.
The Sussexes’ reported move to the UK comes just over a month after their emotional reunion with King Charles.
