BritBox has released the official trailer for its latest Agatha Christie adaptation, teasing a classic detective duo in action. The show is the first to bring Christie’s classic mystery stories to modern television in English, featuring the famous pair.
Titled Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence, the TV show brings Tommy and Tuppence to life, the famous married mystery-solving pair in Christie’s novels. Marking Phoebe Eclair-Powell’s first television drama commission, the British playwright penned the script while also serving as executive producer, among others.
It is a six-part series, with Fergus O’Brien directing the first four episodes, while Ellie Heydon helms the final two. Lookout Point, the studio behind Happy Valley and part of BBC Studios, produces the series alongside Agatha Christie Limited. BBC Studios will handle global sales for the series.
