Jordan Peele’s Get Out is set to return to Peacock on September 1, 2026, according to CBR. The acclaimed horror film is currently available to stream on Prime Video and will soon make its way back to its former streaming home.
Get Out was written and directed by Peele. The story centers on Chris Washington, who travels with his girlfriend, Rose Armitage, to meet her parents for the first time. However, their seemingly normal visit gradually becomes disturbing as Chris notices unusual behavior from the Black staff at his girlfriend’s parents’ house and encounters increasingly uncomfortable situations involving the Armitage family and their guests.
As these incidents continue, Chris begins to question the family’s intentions and discovers secrets that change his understanding of the visit. Daniel Kaluuya leads the cast as Chris Washington, with Allison Williams playing Rose Armitage. Other cast members include Bradley Whitford as Dean Armitage, Caleb Landry Jones as Jeremy Armitage, Stephen Root as Jim Hudson, and Catherine Keener as Missy Armitage, among others.
The film received strong critical acclaim and earned four nominations at the 90th Academy Awards, where it won Best Original Screenplay. Get Out currently holds a 98 percent score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes based on 403 reviews. Meanwhile, its audience score stands at 86 percent.
The horror film was also a commercial success. Produced on a reported budget of $4.5 million, Get Out grossed more than $255 million worldwide. According to Box Office Mojo, this includes over $176 million from domestic theaters and just under $79.4 million from international territories.
