Meghan Markle launches a new As Ever product days before her reported move to the UK with Prince Harry and their kids. She regarded the product as a “fall favorite.” Ahead of the announcement, she teased the release of the product in an Instagram post, which featured her in a black dress and cream cardigan with a basket of apples.
Meghan Markle announces new product for her brand As Ever
On Tuesday, August 25, Markle announced her brand As Ever’s spiced apple butter, which will be made available for purchase on Wednesday, August 26. “There’s something special about the first taste of apple season, with its promise of crisp mornings and changing leaves just around the corner. Our new Spiced Apple Butter captures that feeling in every jar, with orchard apples and fragrant spices bringing the comforting warmth of the season to every spoonful,” the company’s newsletter read.
A few days before the announcement, Markle took to As Ever’s page to share a video, which seemingly sparked several speculations. In the clip, she could be seen wandering in the woodland, with the basket of apples in her hand. She stops by a tree nearby and looks up before continuing her stroll. Her caption read, “A little hint of what’s coming,” followed by an apple emoji.
In another post, she introduced the actual product, the “Spiced Apple Butter.”
While this post came amid her return to the UK, it also came at a time when some reports suggest that the Duchess of Sussex is making a return to acting. It’s understood that she could be teaming up with Guy Ritchie for the Netflix series The Gentlemen.
However, a new report suggests that her casting was withdrawn due to intense backlash. “The backlash in the UK was so intense, it became untenable to go forward. This does not bode well for Meghan’s acting comeback in the UK. More to come,” Tina Brown, the former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair and The New Yorker, wrote on Substack.
