Netflix Bets on YouTube Fame as Huge Creator Brings His Shows to Streaming in Major Move

Netflix is making a major move into creator-led entertainment by partnering with one of YouTube’s biggest stars. The deal brings the creator’s popular digital show to the streaming juggernaut, with new episodes arriving on the same day as YouTube releases.

Netflix has signed an exclusive partnership with Kevin Langue, who has built more than 3 billion lifetime views on the popular video-sharing platform. As part of the new deal, both The Kevin Langue Show and Kevin Langue 2 (KL2) channels will be added to the streaming service.

Langue has more than 13.5 million followers across online platforms. That also includes 5.4 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel. Netflix has also shared a funny announcement video in which Kevin breaks into the company’s office with the help of a hacker. He then uploads his channels to its server room before two guards catch him.

What to know about The Kevin Langue Show coming to Netflix

The Kevin Langue Show is a popular comedy and social experiment hosted by Langue, known as “the world’s best guesser.” It centers on a guessing game where the digital creator and his friends face a lineup of strangers. They try to test their people-reading skills, questioning contestants to spot a secret liar among them.

His second channel, Kevin Langue 2, takes a different approach by offering an unscripted, candid, and more personal look at Kevin and his inner circle of friends. The channel includes casual games, behind-the-scenes moments, and relaxed group interactions. AXEL produces both shows, while Langue and Zane Helberg serve as executive producers.

His popularity does not only stick to digital screens. The latest partnership follows a successful live tour for The Kevin Langue Show. This summer, Langue took the show across 18 cities and sold more than 30,000 tickets. Every performance on the tour sold out.

“The fans have been the driving force behind this opportunity, and to see what we’ve built now also on Netflix is incredibly special,” Langue said in a statement.

Starting September 5, 2026, Netflix subscribers will get access to a curated collection of episodes pulled from his back catalog. Moreover, new instalments will drop day-and-date with their YouTube releases.
