Sophie Thatcher and Charles Melton‘s latest horror movie is now available to stream digitally. Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, the horror film premiered at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival before being released in theaters on July 24, 2026.
Her Private Hell is available to buy or rent digitally starting from August 25, 2026. The physical 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray version will be released on November 24, 2026.
The synopsis of the film reads, “When a mysterious mist engulfs a futuristic metropolis, unleashing a deadly and elusive entity, a troubled young woman searches for her father. Her quest collides with an American GI on a harrowing odyssey to rescue his daughter from Hell.”

Meanwhile, Charles Melton plays Private K, an American G.I. The American actor is known for his portrayal of Reggie Mantle in the hit TV series Riverdale. His other notable films include May December, Warfare, and more.

Her Private Hell secured a worldwide box office collection of $1,072,814, per The Numbers. As of writing, the film has a 41% Tomatometer and 36% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes. Although the numbers aren’t in favor, the film has received attention for its dreamlike visuals. Music composer Pino Donaggio also earned praise for the movie’s dramatic, haunting background score.
