Glenn Close has spoken up for Kim Kardashian as criticism of All’s Fair continues. The veteran actress praised her co-star after a social media user questioned Kardashian’s role in the Hulu drama. Close made her comments while sharing a look at the show’s second season.

Close shared photos Instagram from the All’s Fair set on Sunday, Aug. 23. One photo showed Kardashian with her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, who visited the set. After a user said they felt sorry that Close had to “deal with” Kardashian, Close responded in the comments. “Whatever your opinion of Kim is, I want you to know she is a KIND, funny, steady, smart powerhouse of a woman and mother,” she wrote.
Close then made it clear that she and Kardashian have a personal bond. “She is my friend,” the actress added. In the original caption, Close also praised Hamilton. “Sir Lewis came by our All’s Fair location. I LOVED meeting him,” she wrote, calling him a “sweet, classy gentleman” and thanking Kardashian for bringing him.
All’s Fair premiered in November 2025 and follows an all-female law firm. Kardashian plays Allura alongside Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Sarah Paulson and Close. Hulu renewed the Ryan Murphy legal drama less than a month after its premiere. Hulu said the show became its biggest original scripted series premiere in three years based on its first three days of streaming.
The series also got some harsh feedback after the first three episodes were released. Hulu said the show led its Top 15 Today list and stayed there each day after its debut. The streamer also claimed All’s Fair achieved over 10 billion social impressions prior to its first-season finale. Later, Kardashian joked about the backlash, stating that it made people want to watch more.
