According to a report by RadarOnline, ex-Prince Andrew is worried after Donald Trump promoted Todd Blanche to US Attorney General this month. According to a palace source, Andrew is concerned that Blanche’s appointment might force him to testify about his connections to late financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The source told the outlet, “The reason Andrew would be sweating over Blanche’s appointment is obvious. Blanche has personally sat down with Ghislaine Maxwell and is now America’s most powerful law enforcement official.” Maxwell is currently in a minimum-security women’s prison and was charged with helping Epstein in his crimes.
They added that renewed attention on Epstein and Maxwell is “uncomfortable territory for Andrew, as it could bring him closer to being forced to give testimony in the US.”
According to another insider, Maxwell’s interaction with Blanche might bring back discussions about Andrew and Epstein. However, that might not be in the former Prince’s favor, as he has tried to “put that entire chapter behind him.”
After his scandal involving Epstein intensified, King Charles stripped Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of his Royal titles. He was further removed from the Royal Lodge in Windsor. Moreover, his legal trouble increased after he was accused of misconduct while in public office and arrested in early 2026. Following his eviction from the Royal Lodge, Andrew moved to an estate in Sandringham. As reported previously, he also refused to join the Royal Family’s annual Balmoral vacation because he feared being “abandoned.”
