Taylor Swift Reveals the Clever Way She Humiliates Her Critics — Report

Taylor Swift reportedly revealed that she claps back at critics by using words they have to look up. The pop icon enjoys immense popularity around the world. While her fans, known as Swifties, adore her, she still faces criticism from time to time. In a recent interview, the 14-time Grammy winner revealed that she has a clever way of responding to her critics while maintaining her signature sophistication.

Taylor Swift reportedly uses clever words to clap back at critics

Taylor Swift is not one to clap back at critics in an obvious way; instead, she does it cleverly. As reported by Page Six, the “Love Story” hitmaker recently had an interview at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. During the conversation, she told Harvey Mason Jr., the CEO of the Recording Academy, how she responds to her critics.

The singer revealed that she finds it fun to mock people who mock her. Swift continued, “Sometimes I like to just use words that they have to look up in order to talk s**t about,” before laughing. She added that whenever she says something, people respond with, “Oh, easy for you to say.”

Swift explained that she makes music for people who genuinely connect with it and use it as a way to “cope” with their lives, just as she did. Plus, she doesn’t believe that putting out music means she should receive universal validation. However, if one continues making music, it means they genuinely love the art of creating it and are doing it for all the right reasons, she said.

Earlier, her studio album “The Life of a Showgirl” was criticized for various reasons, including a lack of the deep storytelling she is known for and weaker lyrics. Although the album performed well, Swift welcomed the criticism directed at her work. In an interview with Zane Lowe, she said that she is not the “art police.” The pop icon added that everybody is allowed to feel however they want about her work.
