‘You Are Missed’: Wladimir Klitschko Honors Hayden Panettiere’s 37th Birthday in Emotional Post

Hayden Panettiere‘s ex-fiancé Wladimir Klitschko shared an emotional post on social media. Klitschko’s post honored the recently deceased actor on her 37th birthday.

Following Panettiere’s sudden demise, her longtime partner reflected on celebrating the positivity that the Scream actor brought to the world. He also thanked her fans for their overwhelming support during tough times while sharing the message of choosing kindness and love over everything. Taking to his X account, Klitschko wrote, “Today is Hayden’s birthday. Instead of celebrating the way we had planned, today we celebrate her life, her spirit, and the love she brought into this world.”

He further added, “If you’re reading this, I ask just one thing: even if only for a moment, think about LOVE. Reach out to a friend. Forgive someone. Be kind. Love is a superpower. Use it. Happy Birthday, Hayden. You are loved, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten.”

Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko’s relationship spanned more than a decade

Panettiere and Klitschko crossed paths back in 2009 at a party in Beverly Hills. Elaborating on their first meeting in her 2026 memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning, the actor revealed how she bumped into the popular boxer at the party. As their bond grew stronger, the duo started dating, which led to a Skype proposal back in 2013. Then the birth of their baby followed: Kaya, who was born in December 2014. However, struggling with postpartum depression, Panettiere’s relationship began to decline. Finally, the duo ended their engagement in 2018.

Following their split, Klitschko got full custody of their daughter Kaya. After the news of the actor’s demise surfaced, her ex-fiancé took to Instagram to pay an emotional tribute. The Ukrainian boxer also made a heartwarming promise to his daughter, writing, “To our daughter Kaya, I will always speak of her mother with respect and make sure she remembers the person she was.”
