Private letters from Natalie Harp to Donald Trump have surfaced in full for the first time, revealing her personal devotion to the president. The correspondence shows Harp declaring she is “unworthy” of Trump while expressing envy toward women who simply “talk with you and look pretty.”
Donald Trump’s biographer just revealed two letters from Natalie Harp
The letters, obtained by The Daily Beast and written in 2023 during or after a golfing trip to Scotland and Ireland, have added to scrutiny over the aide’s allegedly unprecedented access to the president.
Michael Wolff, author of the best-selling book All or Nothing, received the letters from Donald Trump’s campaign sources concerned about Natalie Harp’s growing closeness to the president. Wolff detailed the discovery on his podcast Inside Trump’s Head.
“The relationship here is not a relationship that should exist in a professional setting,” Wolff told co-host Joanna Coles. According to him, staff members found the folded printouts among the piles of positive news stories Harp routinely delivered to Trump. The notes were photographed and circulated among staff before reaching Wolff.
In one letter, Harp apologizes for panicking when separated from the group at customs. “I thought I was the only one left behind last night,” she writes, apparently referencing White House communications adviser Margot Martin. “Since I was alone in the van outside Customs, without my passport, I panicked, and should have just called Secret Service instead of you.”
A second letter gets more personal. Natalie Harp writes that she missed the days when Donald Trump would call her during her time as an OAN host. “We could be out on the Course, with no machines, and even forget what time it was! I didn’t have to be ‘Human Printer,'” she writes. She confesses to envying women “whose only job seems to be to talk with you and look pretty. I want that job!!”
Harp signs one letter, “With all my heart, Natalie” and the other simply “Always, Natalie” in Sharpie. White House spokesman Davis Ingle dismissed the controversy. “Natalie Harp is one of the most loyal and hardest-working aides on President Trump’s team,” Ingle said. “The Fake News’s continued attacks on President Trump and his Administration prove exactly why trust in media is at historic lows.”
