Prince Harry Faces ‘Nightmare Scenario’ Involving Meghan Markle on UK Return — Source

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly relocating to the UK later this month. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to move to a non-royal, private property outside London. However, according to a source, Markle does not plan to make a permanent return to Britain, a decision that could put Harry in a difficult position.

According to Rob Shuter, Meghan Markle is not planning to stay in the UK permanently, and this could leave Prince Harry worried. The report claims that the “Suits” alum has agreed to spend six months in the UK, but Markle has made it clear that California still feels like home.

According to one individual, she views the move as a six-month test rather than a permanent return. This arrangement could put pressure on their marriage, especially as Harry has spent years insisting that his future is with his wife and children in California.

On the other hand, Markle would be leaving behind her life, her mother, and the support system she has built there. This has led friends to ask the unavoidable question of where the family actually belongs.

“Eventually, Harry may have to choose between his wife’s happiness and his country,” a source said on the Naughty But Nice podcast. They continued, “That is the nightmare scenario nobody wants to talk about.”

Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, is allegedly heartbroken by the idea of her daughter moving far away. The insider explained that a six-month experiment might sound temporary, but for Markle and Harry, it could be the biggest test of their marriage so far.

Recently, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield shared her thoughts on the Sussexes’ relocation. She told Page Six that the comeback feels less like a royal reunion and more of an “admission of failure.”

The commentator said the couple’s decision proves they still “need the monarchy.” Schofield explained the return “is an admission of failure, whether Harry and Meghan are intellectually honest enough to admit it or not.” She added, “They left Britain telling the world they needed freedom to thrive.”

While the Sussexes are yet to address their relocation, their spokesperson reportedly confirmed the move in comments to the BBC.
