A royal expert claims that Prince Harry‘s UK return might have to do with his financial future. She said that they might be looking to regain their royal reputation while King Charles is the monarch. The expert said that once Prince William takes over the monarchy, he could be “less accommodating” towards the Sussexes.

Royal insider Kinsey Schofield told Page Six that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s return might be linked to their financial future. She said that Prince William‘s inner circle believes that “money and inheritance are part of the calculation” for the Sussexes’ unexpected return to the country.
The expert added, “There is a suspicion within Prince William’s orbit that Harry and Meghan understand the clock is ticking and want to re-establish their position, influence, and proximity to the monarchy while Charles is still King.”
Schofield noted that once William becomes the king, he will have more power to shape the monarchy. And when it happens, he won’t be that accommodating towards his younger brother and his family. She said that her sources believe that Harry is aware of that fact. Therefore, Harry and Markle are trying their best to rebuild the ties before his brother takes the throne.
Schofield further mentioned how there is a “genuine concern” among the Waleses about what the Sussexes’ arrival could mean to them. “They have not forgotten the escalation in threats and online harassment directed at the Waleses after the Oprah interview, and they fear another cycle of accusations, leaks, or interviews could inflame that hostility again,” she added.
Schofield mentioned that in her palace source’s view, the Sussexes are “loose cannons” who are “unpredictable, indiscreet, and, critically, not always reliable narrators of events.” Harry, Markle, and their kids are set to reside in private accommodation in the UK rather than a royal one. Archie and Lilibet will start school starting next month.
