Some royal fans on X have speculated about the impact of Meghan Markle’s UK return on Kate Middleton. Many believe Middleton might increase her workload. This is due to the Sussexes’ comeback to Britain for an extended period of time. One X user wrote, “Kate Middleton first day back at Kensington Palace cause now she has to work in order to eclipse Meghan MARKLE,” while another joked that Kate would need to “increase her workdays beyond just once a month.”

Royal reporter Tom Sykes told Page Six that the Sussexes’ comeback is “a huge slap in the face for William.” Moreover, he felt it could “create serious risks for the monarchy.” Sykes said this move can potentially create even more “huge succession” of additional “challenges” for William. This is reportedly due to his alleged longstanding feud with his brother. “What is gonna happen if Charles invites Harry to join the royal family for Christmas? What is gonna happen if Harry wants to attend the Remembrance Day celebrations?” the expert noted.
