A source told PEOPLE that Prince Harry’s return to the UK presents the “best opportunity” for him and Prince William to repair their relationship. The source added, “It would never happen with him in America. This gives them the opportunity to try and mend that bridge.”
A source close to Harry states that the bond between the brothers remains distant, with “no contact.” However, they noted that his relationship with his father, King Charles, is now “better.” The source claimed in July, “I thought it would have perhaps eased a little bit by now, to be honest. But there has been no movement, especially on William’s side.
William’s and Harry’s bond crumbled after the latter stepped down from royal duties in 2020. It worsened over the years following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s public interviews and Harry’s memoir, which made shocking revelations about the royal family.
