There is reportedly a deep, hidden meaning behind Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding rings. Fans got a glimpse of the Grammy winner’s wedding ring when she was photographed at Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk’s wedding in England.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s wedding ring details explained
A jewellery expert decodes the real meaning behind Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding rings. Swift’s gold band rested right below her flashy diamond engagement ring. The yellow gold band was adorned with dainty diamonds, and fans immediately took notice of it on the internet.
Jeweller Logon Hollowell dished to Page Six: “An eternity band has always carried this beautiful symbolism of continuity and enduring love. A half eternity band gives you the visual effect of a diamond band while often being more practical for everyday life. It can protect the stones from some of the impact and friction that naturally happens underneath the finger.”
Hollowell explained that the wedding ring is designed thoughtfully. The design would allow Swift to continue making music and playing instruments without any issue. The curved, arched structure provides wholesome support to her fingers. This reportedly allows the wedding ring to nestle comfortably under the engagement ring, as if being welcomed in the fold.
The jewellery designer dished: “There is something incredibly romantic about it. The wedding band is shaped specifically to meet another ring. On its own, it has one silhouette, but when the two pieces come together, they create something entirely new. I think that feeling of two individual pieces being designed to belong together is part of what makes the style resonate so strongly with brides.”
Moreover, The Clear Cut founder and CEO Olivia Landau discussed Kelce’s wedding ring. She stated that it is slightly different but similar in essence. Landau explained: “Taylor is known for weaving symbolism and sentimentality into everything she does. And given the intricate hand engraving and thoughtful details of her engagement ring, it would make sense for both wedding bands to continue that story.”
