Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, are reportedly all set to move back to the UK, along with their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. This new UK move has allegedly left Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, feeling completely “blindsided.” The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have yet to confirm the news. However, Daniela Relph, the senior royal correspondent for BBC News, has claimed to have spoken with a spokesperson for the couple who has confirmed the news of their move to the UK.
Kate Middleton and Prince William reportedly didn’t see Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s UK move coming
Kate Middleton and her husband, Prince William, reportedly felt “blindsided” by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s alleged UK move. The Prince and Princess of Wales allegedly did not see the couple’s relocation coming. As reported by Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice, King Charles also got to learn about the Duke of Sussex and the Duchess of Sussex’s new plan just days ago. Accordingly, the Sussex couple have taken the story to PEOPLE rather than letting Buckingham Palace make the announcement.
Amid this, a source told Naughty But Nice that this move of the Sussexes’ sudden relocation to the UK “tells you everything.” The insider further noted, “If this were really about rebuilding trust with the royal family, the palace would have been given the respect of making the announcement. Instead, Harry and Meghan made the announcement themselves in America.”
Meanwhile, another insider highlighted the unpredictability of the Sussexes, saying, “Nobody knows what they are going to do next, and nobody at the palace wants to find out through the American media.” Previously, Harry and Markle had stepped down from their roles as working royals to build a separate life across the pond. Since then, they have achieved financial success in their independent ventures, such as Markle’s As Ever lifestyle brand and Netflix partnership.
Taking note of the same, a different source claimed, “The American dream did not turn out the way they planned. The deals came, the headlines came, but the enormous financial independence they talked about never really materialized.”
