An insider alleged that neither Garner nor Miller initially felt pressure to “move in together” or “make a bigger commitment.” However, they are now said to want more from the relationship while struggling to decide what comes next.
The report claims Garner and Miller’s relationship challenges stem partly from Garner’s continued bond with Ben Affleck. The former couple share three children, Violet, Fin, and Samuel, and have remained closely connected as co-parents.
According to the source, Miller does not believe Garner will reunite with Affleck. Even so, he reportedly finds it difficult to ignore the strong friendship they still share. “John doesn’t feel threatened in terms of Jen ever getting back with Ben, but at the same time, it’s hard not to feel jealous when it’s clear they have a strong connection and friendship,” the insider claimed.
