Reba McEntire is picturing a wedding that sounds more like a country festival than a one-day ceremony. The singer says her plans with fiancé Rex Linn could stretch across several days and include some unusual guests.
Still, the couple has not locked in a date. Their busy schedules, including work on Happy’s Place, continue to shape what the celebration may become.

In an Entertainment Tonight interview, McEntire said the wedding may last “three or four days.” She also explained that the couple wants to celebrate on their farm with the animals they love.
In fact, the guest list may include more than friends and family. McEntire said they have granddogs, longhorn steers, donkeys, horses, and dogs. Because of that, she expects a “very unusual wedding on the farm.”
Meanwhile, McEntire joked that planning has been “not very well” because work keeps interrupting their timeline. Linn continues to land acting jobs, while the pair also hopes to return for another season of Happy’s Place. As a result, they cannot easily block off enough time for a multi-day celebration.
The Reba McEntire wedding plans also include a tricky music question. Both McEntire and Linn have famous friends, and she said choosing performers could leave someone feeling excluded. For now, they have not announced who might sing.
McEntire and Linn had already postponed their wedding because of their busy schedules. Linn also said they hoped to hold the ceremony at their Tennessee ranch with their animals involved.
McEntire and Linn first met in 1991 and reconnected decades later. They began dating in 2020 before getting engaged on Christmas Eve 2024.
