Baywatch alum Carmen Electra opened up about her dating preferences after her two failed marriages. The actress is open to finding new love on her terms.
Carmen Electra says financial status isn’t a factor in finding love again at 54
Carmen Electra, 54, opened up about her love life as she prepares to reenter the dating scene. Electra told Fox News Digital, “I still like a guy that’s a little bit edgy, but I wouldn’t mind being with a dad type. I did actually date a dad. He had a daughter. I fell in love with the daughter. And I kind of thought that was going to be the relationship. Didn’t work out, but I could be with someone who has a kid or not.”
The Scary movie star said she is not limiting her options and is open to dating someone younger. Electra added, “They don’t have to be a dad. They could be a little bit younger. I don’t know. I don’t really know who that guy is yet.”
While discussing what she wants in a partner, Carmen Electra said, “I work really hard. I make money. I’m not looking for a man with money. That’s not my goal. If he wants to buy me a few gifts, that’s nice. But I can take care of myself. He just has to be a good person. That’s very important. And we have to like the same things. It’s also cool when opposites attract. Because they say if two people are too similar, one person is unnecessary.”
Her approach to marriage comes after two previous marriages. She got married to former NBA star Dennis Rodman in November 1998. However, Rodman filed for annulment after nine days of their marriage, but the couple later reconciled before Electra filed for divorce in 1999. She later married Dave Navarro in 2003. According to the Blast, the couple announced their separation in 2006 before divorcing in 2007.
Following two marriages, Carmen Electra is open to dating and finding a meaningful relationship.
