Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift Have a ‘10-Day Rule’ for Marriage — Source

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly follow a “10-day rule” to keep their marriage strong despite their busy schedules. Swift and Kelce tied the knot on July 3 at New York City’s iconic Madison Square Garden. Now, more than a month after their wedding ceremony, the newlyweds have returned to their respective commitments.

Kelce is focused on preparing for his 14th NFL season with the Kansas City Chiefs, while Swift recently traveled to England to attend Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk’s wedding. With their demanding schedules often keeping them apart, the couple has reportedly established a few rules to help maintain their relationship and keep their marriage strong.

As per Rob Shuter, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly follow a “10-day rule” in their marriage, making sure they do not spend more than ten days apart. The couple is said to recognize that extended time away from each other can put a strain on even the strongest relationship.

A source shared with Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack: “They’re not going to let distance become a third person in their marriage. They’ve seen what happens when couples get busy, communication slips, and suddenly the relationship gets squeezed into whatever time is left over.”

According to Shuter, the couple also make communication a priority, staying in touch throughout the day with good morning messages, funny updates, little snippets about their lives, or simply a sweet “I miss you” text. Another reportedly important rule is making sure they wish each other good night before going to bed, even when they are miles apart.

The source explained: “They know the little things become the big things in a marriage. A five-minute call can mean more than hours in the same room when you’re both distracted.”

However, the couple’s most important relationship rule is the aforementioned “10-day rule.” Swift and Kelce make a conscious effort to avoid spending more than ten days apart, even adjusting their professional commitments when necessary to make time for each other.

An insider added: “They’re determined to keep choosing each other. Distance is temporary. Their marriage isn’t.”
