The request is apparently modest. The insider claimed that even a single “Instagram mention” from Princess Beatrice or Princess Eugenie could give the brand a boost. However, the source alleged that Markle has her sights set even higher. In an ideal scenario, she would reportedly like King Charles to acknowledge As Ever publicly.
There may already have been an attempt to build that connection. According to the source, Markle has sent gift baskets featuring products from her brand to Charles and Queen Camilla. Other members of the family were reportedly given gifts as well.
The insider suggested Markle believes the gesture could eventually win them over. She is said to be confident that once the royals try her products, they may “want to get on board.” However, Harry is seemingly reluctant to make the request.
Although the source described him as Markle’s “number one cheerleader,” they claimed he believes asking his family for a favor could be risky.
