New Avengers: Doomsday and X-Men updates may be revealed at the D23 Expo. According to a famous Marvel scooper, fans can expect more official details from the studio about upcoming projects like Doomsday and the X-Men Reboot.
In an X post by insider Daniel Richtman, it was stated that a major announcement from the studio will be about the X-Men. It was stated that trailers for Doomsday and VisionQuest would also be released to the public today. However, the reporter also added, “We won’t get much from Marvel, but the few things we do get will be exciting!”
The scooper added in a repost, “There have been times when we’ve gotten four projects announced and multiple trailers at these events, so this really isn’t much by comparison.”
Ritchman alleged that although the new updates would be fewer than what fans have received in previous Expos, the news would be exciting regardless. Marvel is currently working on many projects, but as of now, the Doomsday movie, followed by Secret Wars, X-Men cast details, and Disney+ TV shows like VisionQuest, are some of the hot topics among fans.
What other MCU announcements could potentially be made at D23?
Although Marvel has projects that fans are highly anticipating, the studio is no stranger to surprising them with more content at major events like the D23 Expo. So, there could be other MCU announcements that could potentially be made over the weekend.
Previously, at the San Diego Comic-Con, the Doomsday display gave fans many first looks at the characters, including the Latverian Witches. Moreover, the studio could either reveal more about the X-Men casting rumors or debunk some of them.
Additionally, Marvel’s representatives could address topics about the Defenders lineup TV shows or the beloved canceled Season 2 of Wonder Man.
Moreover, since Mahershala Ali recently made a statement about his Blade casting, the D23 Expo would be a great stage to address the character, the actor, and a potential Midnight Sons team.
Other projects that could get an announcement include future installments of existing projects or new character introductions in Disney Specials. These include Deadpool 4, Fantastic Four 2, and a Ryan Gosling-Ghost Rider feature.
