Whitney Leavitt lined up her next Broadway role after turning her reality TV notoriety into a surprisingly busy stage career. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star will play Sandra Dee in Just In Time, joining Jeremy Jordan for a six-week run beginning December 1.
Leavitt, 33, previously made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago in February 2026, and her run quickly became a box-office sensation. Her scheduled six-week engagement stretched to three months, with the production recording its highest weekly gross in its 29-year history during her stint.

The new role marked another sharp turn for Leavitt, who first built her audience through MomTok before becoming one of Hulu’s most recognizable reality stars. In PEOPLE’s latest cover story, she reflected on the unlikely journey from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives “villain” to Dancing with the Stars competitor, Broadway performer and film producer.
“I love a good challenge, and when somebody tells me I can’t do something, it makes me want to do it even more,” Leavitt told the magazine.
Leavitt will take over the role of Sandra Dee, the real-life singer who married Bobby Darin. Just In Time starred Jordan as Darin, while Carrie St. Louis currently played Dee. Leavitt’s limited engagement at Circle in the Square Theatre will run through January 10, 2027.
The Christmas and New Year period could also give the production a holiday box-office boost. Just In Time opened in April 2025 and became the only musical from the 2024-25 Broadway season to announce that it had recouped its capitalization.
Leavitt’s Chicago run had already shown producers what her reality-TV following could do for ticket sales. After she left the production in May, Chicago’s weekly gross fell from the $1 million-plus peaks it reached during her run, with the August 9 week bringing in $742,764.
Her Broadway ambitions also followed a major personal shift. Leavitt said Dancing with the Stars “reignited something” in her and helped her rediscover a creative drive she had lost.
She also launched Leavitt Media House with husband Conner Leavitt and prepared to star in and executive-produce the holiday film All for Love.
