Netflix’s new TV and movie releases for the week of August 10-August 16, 2026, include Sydney Sweeney‘s Immaculate and many others.

Directed by Michael Mohan, Immaculate focuses on an American nun who is invited to stay in an Italian convent. Things turn upside down when she delves deep into the terrifying secrets of the labor. The film features Sweeney, Álvaro Morte, Dora Romano, and Benedetta Porcaroli, among others, in key roles. It mostly received positive reviews and grossed $35 million worldwide.

Also coming to Netflix is Firehouse Dog. The family dog follows a celebrity dog named Rexxx, who gets lost and ends up at a run-down fire station. Soon, he teams with a kid to get the station running.

Additionally, the animated adventure Smurfs: The Lost Village arrives on the streaming platform. It unfolds yet another adventure for Smurfette and her friends. This time, they try to uncover a lost village, but the evil wizard Gargamel makes up his mind to shatter their plans.
