TMZ reported on July 30 that the encounter happened while Styles was meeting fans in Mexico City. A viral clip posted on X showed the woman pushing the stroller along the sidewalk before releasing its handle and moving toward the singer with her phone raised.
Styles quickly pointed back toward the stroller and stepped in its direction. The woman returned to it, took hold of the handle and then approached him again while keeping the baby beside her. The footage does not clearly capture their full conversation, so it remains unclear exactly what Styles said.
The stroller appeared to move slightly after the woman let go. However, the clip showed her regaining control within seconds. TMZ said Styles seemed concerned, while the outlet added that his representatives had not responded to a request for comment.
The moment unfolded as Styles spent time in the city’s Roma neighborhood before his next run of concerts. El País reported that he had greeted fans, posed for photos and visited local spots while preparing for six shows at Estadio GNP Seguros between July 31 and Aug. 10.
The Mexico City dates follow a briefly disrupted stretch of his Together, Together tour. A health issue affecting the production forced the cancellation of his July 21 São Paulo concert, although organizers did not say Styles was personally ill. Before heading to Latin America, he completed a record-breaking Wembley Stadium residency, received a Blue Peter Gold Badge and honored Liam Payne during the final show.
