Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift may have had a dress code for their wedding, but two high-profile guests chose not to adhere to it. Nevertheless, instead of getting infuriated about the rule-breaking, the celebrity couple had a surprising reaction to the whole ordeal.
Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift reacted to wedding guests breaking dress code rule
During his recent appearance on the Chris Simms Unbuttoned podcast, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle opened up about the distinct outfits he and Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Robert Tonyan donned during the Kelce-Swift wedding.
After the couple tied the knot at MSG on July 3, the duo changed into vibrant powder-blue and orange tuxedos. Their choice of outfits mimicked costumes from the 1994 comedy film “Dumb and Dumber.” Kittle revealed that Swift and Kelce had an unexpected reaction to his and Tonyan’s outfit change. The couple burst into laughter upon seeing them.
“Me and Rob Tonyan went to ‘Dumb and Dumber,’” the NFL star remarked. “We gave Travis a heads up. The best part of it was we changed backstage, and the first person that we saw walking out was Travis and Taylor, and they both just broke out laughing at us.”
He continued, “I was invited to that wedding to bring vibes and have a good time and party. So, we fulfilled our side of the bargain,” adding, “The entire thing was fantastic. I had so much fun.”
Kittle was also accompanied by his wife, Claire, his parents, Bruce Kittle and Jill Krieger, and his mother-in-law, Shelly Till. “Travis likes Bruce a lot, but then the moms got invited because of Tight End [University] last year, where they hung out with Taylor for a long time,” Kittle noted. He added, “And she just really liked them. So that was kind of fun to have, like, a family outing at Madison Square Garden.”
