Prince Harry is considering penning a sequel to his memoir Spare. News24 host Danica De Giorgio discussed reports that Harry might consider releasing Spare 2.0 amid reports that the Sussexes are not that financially well-off. For those unversed, the Duke of Sussex released his first-ever memoir, Spare, in 2023. The book became a major bestseller and a talking point as Harry shared intricate details about his family, including his father, King Charles, and his brother, Prince William.
Prince Harry reportedly could write another book amid financial rumors
As per News24 host Danica De Giorgio, Prince Harry could consider writing a follow-up to his 2023 book Spare. She revealed to her viewers that the Duke of Sussex is considering a sequel to his book.
Giorgio said that, according to award-winning journalist Paula Froelich, “They (the Sussexes) are kind of running out of money. There’s some rumors that he has been thinking about writing another book because Spare did well. He was overpaid for it, but it did do well. So there are rumors that he is trying to drum up interest in some sort of a Spare Two”, Giorgia added.
The journalist broached this topic with another royal guest, Cristo Foufas, on her show. The journalist revealed that she wouldn’t be surprised if this turned out to be true and even thinks the Sussexes visited the UK to gather more information. Foufas remarked sharply: “I don’t know what else he could complain about? What else is in there?”
Foufas lavished praise on “smart” William and Catherine for keeping private information to themselves and not revealing it in public.
The journalist said: “They (the Waleses) know that there is always a risk that people are scouting for material.” Foufas agreed with Giorgia that the Sussexes are gathering material for a new book and alleged that this is the reason they are cozying up to the monarchs once again. Furthermore, he also alleged that they (the Sussexes) will try to stir up some “drama” from “innocent comments,” as they did in the Oprah interview.
Moreover, Foufas suggested that while he is happy that Harry reunited with his father recently, he urged the palace to sign an NDA with the Duke.
