King Charles Went Against Prince William to Take a New Direction — Source

King Charles allegedly went against Prince William by agreeing to meet Prince Harry. According to a source, the palace, including the Prince of Wales, believed the king had made a “mistake.” They were allegedly concerned that Harry and Meghan Markle might “push for more” after the reunion. For those unversed, the Sussexes reportedly met Charles and Queen Camilla in the UK a couple of weeks ago. Their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, also accompanied them.

King Charles’s new direction has reportedly made everyone, including Prince William, worried. Insiders told Closer that the palace feared the monarch’s decision to meet Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would allegedly not be good for the foundation.

“He’s gone against what most people, particularly William, wanted him to do, so it’s stirred up a real hornet’s nest,” they claimed. “There’s genuine concern within the Firm that this is only the beginning, that Harry and Meghan will eventually start pushing for more once they get comfortable.”

Furthermore, the source stated that Charles was “convinced that Harry and Markle have changed. According to him, the Sussexes’ outlook and perception towards the royals have allegedly transformed. Reportedly, they have now become aware of “what’s at stake.” Therefore, Charles seemed to have given the couple another chance.

However, this didn’t mean the father of two princes had reportedly forgotten the hurt. “There’s still a part of Charles that will never find it easy to move past some of the terrible things that were said and done,” the insider said. “But he’s reached a place where he’s prepared to forgive if they prove they’ve genuinely learned from the past.”

Meanwhile, another report suggested that Harry might want to return to his royal duties. But he would allegedly want to do it “part-time,” while also fulfilling his responsibilities in California.
