One source alleged the reported split was not Scobie’s decision. “There is no way Omid walked away,” the insider told Naughty But Nice. According to the source, Scobie built much of his public profile by covering Markle and her life after leaving the U.K. Because of that, the insider argued it would have made little sense for him to end the relationship on his own.
Meanwhile, another insider pointed to what they described as a recurring pattern. “She has a pattern,” the insider alleged. “People are incredibly valuable until they aren’t.” The source further claimed that once Markle believes someone has fulfilled their purpose, “she cuts ties and rarely looks back.”
Thus, insiders believe the relationship gradually faded rather than ending through a public falling-out. Meanwhile, Scobie’s career has noticeably changed in recent years. Now, he has reportedly moved to Los Angeles and is focusing on television projects and fiction writing.
