Donald Trump Jr. Blasts ‘Liars’ Over False Charlie Kirk Murder Claims

Donald Trump Jr. and Bettina Anderson pushed back against online conspiracy theories surrounding Charlie Kirk’s murder after attending two days of court proceedings in Utah. The couple urged the public to let the legal process play out instead of fueling speculation about the high-profile case.

Their comments came as Tyler Robinson’s preliminary hearing continued, with prosecutors presenting surveillance footage and other evidence related to the fatal shooting of the Turning Point USA founder at Utah Valley University in September 2025.

According to RadarOnline, Anderson praised Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, after standing beside her throughout the hearing. She said Erika had shown “extraordinary grace and courage” while facing the emotional court proceedings.

“There is a PROFOUND difference between seeking truth through the judicial process and spreading lies for attention,” Anderson wrote on her Instagram Story, according to RadarOnline. “Erika is not a public spectacle. She is a widow and a mother of 2 children who lost their father in an unimaginable way.”

According to RadarOnline, Anderson said she and Donald Trump Jr. spent two days in the Provo courtroom and believed the evidence presented, including extensive surveillance footage, would answer questions that had “been irresponsibly filled with speculation and false narratives.” She also said they remained committed to supporting Erika, her children, and the entire Kirk family.

Trump Jr. echoed that message on X. He highlighted what he believed was an overlooked fact in the case, writing, “Fact: Tyler Robinson was on the Utah Valley University campus 4 times between September 10, 2025 and the early hours (approximately 12:40 am) on September 11, 2025.”

He added, “Major detail no one seems to be talking about: Tyler Robinson was not a student at UVU!!!”

RadarOnline also reported that previously unseen surveillance footage was played in court after Judge Tony Graf allowed prosecutors to present it over defense objections. Former Utah State Bureau of Investigation agent David Hull testified that the footage showed Robinson arriving on campus, moving onto a rooftop overlooking Charlie Kirk’s event, and fleeing after the shooting.

Before the hearing began, Erika and Charlie’s family released a joint statement. On X, they said, “Every court proceeding serves as a painful reminder of his death,” while thanking supporters for the prayers and kindness they had received. They also asked for privacy as the judicial process continued.

Robinson, 23, faced seven criminal charges, including aggravated murder. Prosecutors continued seeking the death penalty if the case proceeded to trial.
